SNAP at the Market

I'm really interested in how states are making farmers markets more accessible to low-income shoppers. I've been really excited to see the progress of the "double up food bucks" programs in several states, where people that use their SNAP benefits (formerly food stamps), get twice the value of their benefits if they use it at farmers markets (so $20 in benefits would buy $40 worth of produce). This is an article from Slow Food that gives a brief summary of what a few states are doing.
